Uno Svensson (1929–2012)
Uno Svensson was born in Kallinge, Sweden, in 1929. He grew up in a musical & religious home. As a child, he copied the work of Gustave Doré illustrations.
Uno Svensson apocalyptic theme forms an epic chronicle from recent chapters. His paintings have a kind of mysterious beauty. Green is totally missing in them.
He has lived and worked most time in Paris and Nice.
He has done one-man exhibitions and taken part in group exhibitions in more than 20 countries.
