Fritz von Heider (1868–1947) was a German painter, graphic artist, and ceramist known for depicting animals and landscapes. Born in Munich, he studied under Heinz Heim and later at the Karlsruhe Academy with Hermann Baisch. He completed his studies in Munich under Heinrich von Zügel. In addition to his artistic training, Heider apprenticed in ceramics at his father's workshop in Munich.

Heider's work was first exhibited in 1893 at the Munich Secession. From 1901 to 1932, he taught at the Arts and Crafts School in Magdeburg, initially as a teaching assistant and later as a full-time instructor. After retiring, he returned to Bavaria and passed away in Oberaudorf in 1947.
