Over lockdown, the first one, I became pretty keen on seeing people do up their houses. One of my favourite accounts was that of Nadine (@rona_renovation) who with her partner Julius are renovating their home in South London. Not only is it fun to watch their impressive progress, but I have to say, I find Nadine a delightful narrator to their journey, so much so I asked her if she would do the honours of managing this round-up. Enjoy!

As soon as we have some cash to invest in some statement furniture I'm going straight to  OOW. They restore unique mid-century pieces beautifully and the founder Tola has such an amazing eye. This dining set is the dream - quintessential mid-century modern design.

There isn't a better brand story than Beiige Store - not only is the brand black-owned they collaborate with Ghanian artisans to craft natural furniture and homeware pieces. Julius and I are huge fans of craftsmanship and natural materials - this side table would be amazing in our spare bedroom

Made in the Woodshed is a small business I've been watching for a while. The owner Helen is around my mum's age and it makes me so happy to see the generation above pursuing their dreams as they give so much to us spoiled millennial kids ha! Helen is a reminder to never stop evolving! She crafts the most stunning small items in her woodshed, and I've got my eye on some vases to dot around the house as they are our exact style!

Maison Commune is an eco-conscious brand who think of the environment every step of the way when selling gorgeous homewares. This mid-century inspired coffee table is right up my street.

I do enjoy a retro sofa, this mid-century inspired piece by MADE is what I'd absolutely love in our living room. Looks so cosy too!

Now I've seen this simple but exquisite brass pendant light from Dowsing Reynolds I basically can't picture anything else for our bathroom... their sockets and switches are also #goals

I hate to admit I'm feeling Christmassy already but there you have it! This hand-painted bargain from Ace & Prince would be perfection for our future fireplace mantle...

I am a self-confessed vintage crockery addict/collector so since markets have been so on/off due to the pandemic, Atervinna Interior has been a major source of inspo for me. I basically want it all, but this cup and saucer set in particular needs to be mine!

I am a sucker for a bit of rattan, and this chest of drawers from MADE are affordable and stunning and would fit well in a calming simple bedroom space.

I mean, one can only dream. If I could afford to commission anyone right now it would be Modular by Mensah who designs the most innovative and unique modular furniture. For those who enjoy the wackier side of retro and mid-century inspired design, look no further.

Huge thank you to Nadine, to keep up to date with her & Julius' progress on their house follow @rona_renovation
