Deniz Bayern Founder of Studio Kaya

This week we have the superb interior designer Deniz Bayern, founder of Studio Kaya. I have already wangled a Knock Knock out of her, so I was incredibly pleased that she was willing to give Tat more of her time. This is an excellent This & Tat. Hand on heart, I would like everything below.

I find these paper cutouts of flower silhouettes so delicate and beautiful. Made by the artist Philipp Otto Runge (1777-1810).

This doesn’t only have the most perfect packaging but it also smells divine. Woody, oriental and smoky.

Pinch's lighting collection made out of banana fibre is a great 21st-century reinterpretation of Noguchi-Esque lights.

Available in stone, timber or metal. They can lift up and add instant fun to existing joinery.

These baskets are harvested and made in the UK by master weavers.

My absolute favourite home scent and I cannot imagine ever getting tired of it.

I am currently loving Susie Atkinson’s colour choice and pattern design for fabrics as well as wallpapers.

Ruth Gurvich’s ‘Lightscape Collection’ for Nymphenburg Porcelain reminds me of papier-mâché. The vases are especially wonderful.

Hand-embroidered zigzag borders add a playful detail to these classical linen napkins.
